About Us My name is Jeanne Mirisola and I have been a Cruise and Tour Specialist with Cruise Planners since 1998. In 2001, after several years of training, I purchased a franchise with Cruise Planners. I am one of those lucky people who can actually say that I love my job. In fact, I can go beyond that to say that I am absolutely passionate about cruising! Through my business, I have been so fortunate to be able to travel to many of the destinations I have dreamed about over the years and, more importantly, I have been blessed with the most wonderful clients, many of whom I consider to be the dearest of friends.

Just to give you a bit of information about my background, I hold a Bachelors Degree in Business with a concentration in accounting from Fitchburg State College. I took a break from the business world while raising my three children and taking care of my Mom who suffered from Alzheimer's disease. When my Mom passed away, it was time for me to re-enter the job market. Instead of returning to the accounting profession, I decided to do something fun and interesting that would bring people joy. I have always loved people and cruising, so becoming a Cruise Specialist seemed a perfect fit. I went to Coral Springs, Florida where I attended Cruise Planners training seminar and I have never looked back. The first several years of my career as a Cruise Specialist were spent learning all that I could about the mainstream cruise lines through CLIA and the individual cruise line's training programs and by sampling many of their cruises. As my business evolved, I became more and more interested in small-ship cruise adventures, expeditions, and the luxury cruise lines. I have been just fascinated by all of the opportunities for adventure, discovery, travel and downright pampering available through the many uncommon cruise lines that are out there. Small ships visit destinations the mega-ships simply can't get to and provide an up-close-and-personal experience unattainable to the mass-market cruiser. I have attended numerous seminars and trade shows, along with taking many of the courses offered by various cruise lines in an effort to learn all I can about this wonderful segment of the cruise travel industry. I am a NCMA and Norwegian Coastal Voyage Niche Cruise Specialist and a Small Ship Partner with Cruise West. Remember, I chose this business to bring folks joy. I truly care about your cruise vacation. I will always strive to match your personality and each of your personal interests with the perfect ship and cruise for you! I will do my best to be certain that all your needs and desires are fulfilled - from dining options to pampering spa services to the best accommodations available to you within your budget.
